Document Day & Gear Swap
All Divisions Community

Document Day is when we verify your proof of residency documentation — the final step in the registration process. Please bring the required documents so we can complete your player's enrollment.

We also host a Gear Swap at this event. Baseball gear can get expensive, especially when kids are growing fast. We encourage parents with players moving into higher divisions to donate their old gear to the league. In turn, we offer donated equipment to new and younger players in our lower divisions.

💡 Tip: Document Day and Assessments are often combined into one event. Check the league calendar for the confirmed date and location.

Player Assessments
Caps, Minors & Majors Only

Players come to Little League with a wide range of skill levels. In an effort to keep teams fair and balanced, we hold player assessments for our upper divisions. Assessments are designed to be quick and efficient — players sign up for a time slot that works best for their schedule.

Players will be evaluated through drills covering batting, catching, throwing, and running.

Note: Assessments are only for Caps, Minors, and Majors divisions. T-Ball and Rookies players do not need to attend.

Caps Night Fundraiser
All Families Welcome Family Fun

League registration fees only cover a portion of our operating costs. To help bridge the gap, we hold a fundraiser each season — and Caps Night is our signature event.

Players have a chance to win their choice of jersey, and the whole event is built around family fun and community connection. Even if you're unable to donate, we encourage everyone to come out and get to know other league families. It's a great way to make new friends before the season kicks off!

Spring Field Cleanup Day
All Families Welcome Volunteer Opportunity

Before the season begins, we rally together to get our fields looking their best. Volunteers help rake the infield, paint lines, clear debris, and spruce up both Kuhlken Field and Lemon Ave Field for the season ahead.

This is a great volunteer opportunity for parents and players alike. Every hand helps!

Opening Day Ceremony & Festival
All Divisions Don't Miss It! Sponsor Booths

Opening Day is one of the most exciting moments of the year — and it deserves some pomp and circumstance! Every player suits up in their uniform for the very first time and gets introduced onto the field with their team in front of friends and family.

After the ceremony, stick around for an exciting festival that's fun for kids and parents alike! Sponsor booths, food, games, and community celebrations make this a day the whole family will look forward to.

📸 Pro tip: Bring your camera — this is one of the most photo-worthy moments of the season!

Scheduled Games
All Divisions

The heart of the season! Games are scheduled across both Kuhlken Field and Lemon Ave Field throughout the spring. Game schedules are released by division — check the League Calendar for up-to-date game times and locations.

Additional special events such as Padre Night or Aztec Baseball Night may also be added throughout the season as opportunities arise. Keep an eye out for announcements!

Beginning of June
Closing Day Ceremony
All Divisions Awards & Recognition

All good things come to an end — but Closing Day is a celebration, not just a goodbye. We reflect on an incredible season and recognize the community, kids, coaches, and volunteers that make LMNLL so special.

Several standout players, coaches, and volunteers are honored throughout the ceremony for their contributions during the season. It's a heartfelt send-off for a great spring.

🍂 Looking ahead: Don't worry — Fall Season starts up just a few months later in late August!
