Volunteer Program
La Mesa National Little League is a 100% VOLUNTEER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION whose mission is to provide our community with a recreational baseball league so that every child may play in a safe and friendly environment. To keep our program running smoothly, we rely on you, our LMNLL families, to help run the everyday operations of the League. In order to do this effectively we have a LMNLL Volunteer Program that requires each family to assist the league by volunteering their time in the listed volunteer positions throughout the season.
The league will host roughly 225 games over the course of our regular season. What does that mean in terms of volunteer work needed? Below is a quick chart of the volunteer hours we need to fulfill for all games in a season. One look at the chart, and you'll understand why we need your help!!
225 Games per Season Requires
675 hours | Snack Bar Volunteer | We need folks to run the Snack Shack and get the goodies to the kids |
450 hours | Field Prep Volunteer | The fields have a setup and tear down procedure before & after each game |
450 hours | Scorekeeping Volunteer | Each game at CAPS/Minors/Majors must retain an official record |
The above only includes game days! We have event planning activities, photography, web & social media updates. The list goes on and on.
